Which laptop should I buy? Sony Vaio or Acer?

I’m a film student, and I mainly want a laptop with a very fast processor and a firewire connection for my camcorder to transfer film better…my budget is £500

i love the following sony vaio laptop because of the firewire connection, the look,and the faster ghz processor

as i’ve been told it has an ‘updated’ processor

i don’t really care for the hard drive because i have a 300gb external hard drive already, and my main elements i want are faster processor, firewire connection, graphics, and dvd burning facilities

so what do you guys suggest?
