How easy is it to burn a DVD from Kodak zi8 video?
I have a Hitachi hybrid camcorder, but have found this ‘simple’ unit more complicated than it should be (issues regarding VR versus VF format, finalization, playback on PC, etc) and my beloved Canon Powershot camera is AWOL. I would love to buy the new Kodak ZI8 camcorder, but am wondering how easy it is to transfer the video to the PC and then burn a DVD from it to watch later? What is the best software program to use when doing so? Any tips greatly appreciated.

The Kodak Zi8 comes with an in-camera program called Arcsoft Media Impression. It will allow you to do simple edits and trim videos, add pictures and music to your videos to make cool mash-ups, grab still images from video frames to get that perfect shot, be able to e-mail your creations or upload to Facebook and YouTube right from the software, and burn your videos to DVD.
