I have an old video tape which is in PAL mode, not NTSC. I was going to transfer the video to DVD using a VHS (PAL and NTSC compatible) connected to a DVD recorder, but i encountered a problem that the video was in Black and White and the pictures jumped up and down, i tried to switched between different modes from PAL to NTSC but still nothing. I played this video a long time ago and it was in color back then. Dont remember what kind of VHS was it. The tape was pretty old, about 12 years old. Does anyone know how i can solve this problem? This is a very valuable video footage to my family. I am even willing to pay money for a service that can restore and transfer it to DVD. Thanks a lot!
