Vampires are more popular today than they have ever been with all the attention from the Movie Industry, books and TV series depicting Vampires in various roles from comedy, romance to absolute horror. No wonder the costume makers have put a lot of attention towards the “vampire costume” designs. How do I keep the little fibers of black velvet fabric from falling off and making a white dress look dirty?
Preferably a something that I can do at home without the need of anything that is too hard to find.
If the fibers are falling off, there is no way to prevent that. I would recommend using a different fabric if you want to wear black with a white dress. Consider cotton or silk.
