As the title suggests, I thought it was a very inspiring movie in terms of what faith has to offer. And that's saying a lot coming from me that I am not a religious person (even if I believe in a higher power). However, looking Film and absolute devotion Denzel Washington plays Eli really inspired me and was a brilliant demonstration of how faith can guide a person objectives. Denzel is a great performance as a whole protrayal of Eli, who is on a mission to bring a book through a post-apocalyptic America. Travelling through the dry and the small town during that formed at the same time, it does not allow to stand in the way of his mission. Unfortunately along their journey, they encounter a city where the officer Gary Oldman character self-proclaimed city. Oldman character find the book that Eli and stop at nothing to get their hands on it. Gary Oldman returns in another fine performance as the villain in this movie and he and Denzel play each other with a master. You have a good bit of Hughes Brothers credit for another excellent film and great sense in this movie – I liked all his films I've seen now (Menace II Society, Dead Presidents, From Hell and The Book of Eli).
Overall it was a great movie with lots of action for the hardcore action and a moving subject in the faith that Eli is presented as it makes its way through the desert. My beef with the launch of the original (and some others have mentioned) is why the hell is that the release of a Blu-ray/HD DVD combo pack? What other films have done well and I do not understand – I mean if you really want the Blu-ray, because they a BD player (like me), why in God's name would anyone want the DVD too. Obviously you can choose to display the movie in the highest quality available to him. This is a waste of money, inevitably, taken the package price, since the additional media … perhaps not by much but still, I prefer pay only the comics and not having to pay extra for the DVD that I will never see. Well, it is useless to complain and actual Film companies do what they want to do, but nevertheless, I personally think it is an absurdity. Well, that's all I, I, I hope you find useful and definitely see this movie if you do not … or even if you have to review.

Warner Bros. has deceived and everyone who bought the combo pack of The Book of Eli including a DVD 3.35 GB SD in this package. SD DVD movies usually run from 4.5 to 6.6 GB. To include a digital copy of this film on DVD, Warner Bros. techniques reduce the size of SD video DVD to a very low 3.35 GB a film with a color palette limited to the needs of each bit of video data to look presentable. Blu-ray version looks good, even if takes forever to load, while observing the weather icon on the screen as the picture above the boots.
The DS version includes a digital copy of the film, something you can do without. It is almost impossible to see the SD version on the computer because the disc is programmed to enter mode digital copy of the original installation.
With this combo pack, Walt Disney Warner Bros Blu-ray/DVD package looks good. Walt Disney did not steal for the sale of a DVD data reduced, not even load the DVD with a bunch of coming attractions. I thought it was a good deal Blu-ray for $ 25 which includes a $ 17 SD version of the film.
